FYRE is excited to offer comprehensive sex ed workshops for parents too! We believe conversations around consent, boundaries, healthy relationships, and sex are so important to have in the household. We look forward to answering your questions, providing optional workbooks and encouraging parents to start talking with their youth.

YOUTH LEADERSHIP COUNCIL (YLC)
The Youth Leadership Council (YLC) is working towards a rural community where every young person has access to factual, non-judgmental education and services that respect their unique and powerful identities.

Okanogan County's youth and young adults deserve medically accurate, non-judgmental education that will allow them to make informed decisions about their health, as well as youth-friendly resources & services.
The YLC reduces unintended teen pregnancy by educating its members and its community about positive youth development, reproductive healthcare, and healthy relationships. The YLC also works to create a safer community for everyone by bringing awareness and understanding to social, gender, LGBTQ, racial and socioeconomic inequalities.
In 2020, Room One partnered with FYRE as co-leads of this incredible program.
If you are a young person in 8th grade to 12th grade and you're interested in joining the YLC, let us know!
